It is clear that trucks are among the biggest fuel consumers on the road. At the moment, there are approximately 250,000 commercial vehicles in the Netherlands. That is nothing compared with the 6.5 million trucks driving throughout Europe. Together, all these trucks cover huge distances and use enormous amounts of fuel.
The vast majority, around 98%, runs on diesel fuel. Some trucks are used only in the Netherlands and always refuel with the same diesel. However, there are also trucks that drive throughout Europe and refuel at many different fuel stations. As a result, truck fuel consumption can increase.

High truck fuel consumption
If your truck or truck fleet is dealing with high fuel consumption and reduced power, this may be caused by several issues, such as:
