Returns and Refund Policy
At Dutch Performance Products BV, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Returns and Refund Policy explains how returns, withdrawals, refunds, exchanges and complaints about damaged or incorrect products are handled.
This policy applies to orders placed through dpp-shop.com. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory legal rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

2. Return Period
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days after receiving the order, unless an exception applies.
In addition to this statutory right, Dutch Performance Products BV offers a commercial return period of 30 days after receipt, unless stated otherwise on the product page or during checkout.
This additional 30-day return period does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
3. How to Register a Return
To return a product, please register your return through our return portal.
Please include your order number and the email address used to place the order. If the return concerns a damaged, defective or incorrect product, please also include a clear description of the issue and photos where relevant.
After your return request has been registered, you will receive further instructions on how to return the product.
4. Conditions for Returns
Returned products must be handled with care and must be returned with all supplied accessories, documentation and parts.
Products should be returned in their original condition and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging.
During the withdrawal period, you may inspect the product only to the extent necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product, as you would be allowed to do in a physical shop.
If a product has been used or handled more than necessary to inspect it, you may be liable for any reduction in value.
5. Packaging Your Return
Please pack the product carefully to prevent damage during transport.
We recommend using the original shipping box where possible. If you no longer have the original box, please use alternative packaging that properly protects the product during transport.
Please include the packing slip, return confirmation or another document that allows us to identify your return. Without this information, processing your return may take longer.
6. Return Shipping Costs
If we offer free returns for your order, this will apply only when the return is registered and shipped according to the instructions provided by us.
If you choose a different return method or return the product without following our return instructions, any additional return shipping costs may be your responsibility.
Return shipping costs for products returned under the statutory right of withdrawal are the customer’s responsibility unless we have stated otherwise or unless applicable law requires otherwise.
7. Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund as soon as possible.
If you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, we will refund the purchase amount, including the standard delivery costs of the original shipment where required by law.
We may wait with the refund until we have received the returned products or until you have provided proof that the products have been returned.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Any additional costs resulting from a more expensive delivery method chosen by you instead of the standard delivery method will not be refunded, unless required by law.
8. Partial Returns
If you return only part of your order, we will refund the purchase price of the returned product or products.
Original shipping costs may not be refunded in case of a partial return, unless required by law or agreed otherwise.
9. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange a product, please contact us at support@dpp-shop.com.
Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested replacement product is not available, we may offer a refund or another suitable solution.
If there is a price difference between the original product and the replacement product, this difference may need to be paid or refunded before the exchange can be completed.
10. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at support@dpp-shop.com.
Please include your order number, a clear description of the issue and photos of the product, packaging and shipping label where relevant.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with your legal rights. This may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
11. Products Excluded from Return
Certain products may be excluded from return only where permitted by law and where this has been clearly stated before purchase.
This may include, where applicable:
- Products made to the customer’s specifications;
- Personalised products;
- Products that cannot be returned due to their nature;
- Sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene once unsealed;
- Products that, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other products;
- Other products excluded from withdrawal under applicable law.
If a product is excluded from the right of withdrawal or from our commercial return policy, this will be stated clearly on the product page and/or during checkout.
12. Business Customers
The statutory right of withdrawal applies only to consumers and does not apply to business customers.
Returns from business customers are accepted only if agreed in writing, unless the product is defective, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to the agreement.
Specific return arrangements for business customers, dealer accounts or quotations may apply if agreed separately in writing.
13. Legal Guarantee
This Returns and Refund Policy does not affect your legal guarantee rights.
We are responsible for delivering products that conform to the agreement and meet the reasonable expectations you may have based on the product description, specifications, intended use and applicable legal requirements.
