Actually I have 2 experiences, namely with the product itself and with the supplier, in this case Dutch Performance Products.
First of all, my experience with the supplier. I ordered the product because I had the well-known light on the dashboard, the engine management light. I drive a training car and because I don't drive it for longer distances, my particulate filter is not cleaned properly while driving, as I understood after some research on the internet. The car dealer wanted to have my filter cleaned, which could cost me between €300 and €400. I then came to the DPP site, which sold “stuff” so that everything was cleaned internally. Ordered for the first time and delivered quite quickly. Ordered again second time, and unfortunately it was out of stock. I was kept informed of this on a weekly basis and as a compensation I received a product from them for free. It wasn't necessary, but it was thoughtful.
Now my experience with the product, the Lindemann Total Care Diesel. As I wrote before, I ordered it twice. After the first time, the light did indeed go out after a while. But also on again, and off again. I added it for a second time and now the light has been off for two weeks, the car is still used as a training car and no expensive external cleaning as the dealer suggested. So absolutely great.
Also a point of criticism. “The stuff” comes in a can, but it is impossible to pour it from the can directly into your tank. You have a funnel or something similar. necessary. The first time I didn't know that, I didn't have that and so I missed quite a lot, which is of course a shame. Something like a spout on that can would be better. Those are my experiences!
Supplement Dutch Performance Products:
We occasionally hear that the current pouring spout is not easy to use for every car. We are working on a solution behind the scenes!
